Set in a remote corner of Morocco, where the desert meets the Atlantic Ocean, Cristina and Kolja’s luxury destination wedding unfolded as an intimate and deeply personal celebration. Planned and creatively directed by La Federica, the ceremony took place atop the wild cliffs of Oualidia, overlooking the sea in a landscape so raw and untouched it felt like stepping into a dream.
We offer a tailor-made design for each couple. From design to planning services, our weddings are characterized by reflecting the personality of the bride, groom and the seasonal moment through a careful design.
Sea of peace in the desert
A visionary bride, Cristina designed not only her own gown but also her groom’s attire. Her pleated silk dress in timeless ivory expressed elegance, purity and quiet strength, while Kolja’s refined ensemble was punctuated by a single golden wheat boutonnière — a symbol of harvest, simplicity and enduring love.
The couple’s creative spirit infused every element of the celebration. Guests received artisanal candles scented with the fragrance of the couple’s home, engraved with the wedding details in delicate relief. A bespoke booklet illustrated with starfish hand-drawn by Cristina accompanied the invitation, later echoed in her veil-cape through embroidery lovingly crafted by her mother.
For the cliffside ceremony, a sculptural floral installation evoked sea foam, wrapping the couple in a half-moon of ivory roses and white hydrangeas — a poetic homage to the Atlantic waves below. The reception continued with long tables dressed in hand-thrown Moroccan ceramics, traditional glassware, dates and pure white blooms, each place marked by a personalised linen napkin and tactile stationery.
As night fell, the celebration turned luminous. Scenes from Cristina and Kolja’s everyday life were projected onto the desert walls — quiet rituals, shared glances and moments of laughter — reminding every guest that beauty lives in the simplest of moments. More than a wedding, this remote destination celebration in Morocco became an intimate expression of love, creativity and place.
