A Mediterranean Reverie

Set against the Mediterranean landscape of Altea, Ayo and Timi’s wedding brought together contemporary design, sculptural installations and a sense of celebration deeply connected to their Nigerian heritage.

For the ceremony, layers of soft pink draping framed the couple against uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean.

Dinner took place directly in front of the property’s façade, where we designed the entire reception around a large oval-shaped table.

At its centre sat one of the most striking elements of the wedding: an extraordinary four-metre-long cake.

Rather than treating the cake as a traditional moment at the end of dinner, it became part of the architecture of the reception itself — a sculptural centrepiece running through the heart of the celebration and completely transforming the scale of the table.

As night fell, the celebration transitioned indoors and the atmosphere shifted.

For the party, we introduced richer textures and deeper tones, including a bespoke photobooth entirely upholstered in red velvet. Designed specifically for Ayo and Timi, it brought a playful sense of glamour to the evening and created a striking contrast with the softness of the Mediterranean setting outside.
